YOUTH SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR MARK PRIEBE

Superior Fastpitch is hosting a 10-and-under Open/Modified and a 12-and-under Open Tournament on August 1, 2020 in Rolla to benefit Mark Priebe (Springfield Officer who was severely injured in the line of duty). This is a 3 game guarantee, 1-Day tournament, and the entry fee is $250.00. The tournament will be held at Ber Juan Park fields. If interested, please call or text Anthony Lauth at 573-308-7449.

The Phelps County Fair is three fun-filled days for one low price. Price includes carnival rides, bull riding, demo derby, truck and tractor pull, ATV rodeo, pageants, livestock events, petting zoo, karaoke, talent contest, frozen t-shirt contest, kids games, musical entertainment, exhibits, vendors, 4-H, FFA, various foods, and so much more. The exhibit halls are full of agricultural products, baked and canned foods, handmade creations, flowers, and 4-H and Scout projects. The livestock barns are a popular attraction with beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, and rabbits. Parking is free.

Public House Brewing Company is proud to present the fifth annual Beer, Pizza & a Movie in The Gardens film series featuring Grease. Seating is limited, so they recommend coming early to grab a seat and bite to eat. Please, no outside food or drink is allowed, but you may purchase wine (keep the receipt) from the St. James Winery Tasting Room and bring it in The Gardens. The movie starts after dusk and the St. James Taproom will be open late for you to enjoy pizza with the movie! The kitchen will be open until 9:30 pm on movie nights.

The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce will once again host Bulldog Pride Night on Friday, August 28 in the Rolla High School parking lot, prior to the first home football game for Rolla High School. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. and continue to game time. There will be free hotdogs, chips, soda and lots of giveaways during the event.
